Lights contest looking for nominations

The annual Holiday of Lights contest sponsored by the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce is underway. Judges will select two residential and one commercial winner from each of seven sections of the city. Nominatons are due by Tuesday and may be made by contacting Lynn Winslow at the chamber office at lwinslow@capechamber.com or by calling 335-3312. Judging will be held Wednesday.

Small business award nominations accepted

The Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for Small Business of the Year, an award that will be presented at the chamber's annual meeting and dinner Feb. 1. Chamber members are receiving e-mail packages about the nomination process, and self-nominations will be accepted. Contact the chamber at 335-3312 for more information.
