Fernando Pisani's first goal of the season tied it at 4 with 4:08 to go for the Oilers, who are 2-10-3 in St. Louis since the 1999-2000 season and snapped a three-game losing streak. Pisani, a 14-goal scorer last season, missed the first 26 games because of colitis.

Doug Weight had two goals and an assist for the Blues, whose six-game home winning streak ended. Weight has four goals in the last three games after failing to score in the first 25 games.

The Blues missed a chance to win it in on a 5-on-3 advantage with 2:18 to go in regulation when Raffi Torres was called for interference and Jarret Stoll for boarding.

Rookie defenseman Erik Johnson assisted on three second-period goals for the Blues, who are 10-4 at home.

Mathieu Garon. stopped David Perron, Brad Boyes and Weight in the shootout.
