NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Mildred P. Kiefer, 83, of New Hamburg died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Gir-ardeau.

She was born March 22, 1924, at Benton, Mo., daughter of Adam and Alvina Urhahn Felter. She and Paul J. Kiefer were married Oct. 30, 1951.

Kiefer was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Ann Sodality.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, the Rev. Tom Kiefer of Cape Girardeau, Pat (Jan) Kiefer of New Hamburg; and two granddaughters, Brittany and Michaela Kiefer of New Hamburg.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at St. Lawrence Church. Parish Prayers will be at 7.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
