PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- A multiple shooting in Perry County today resulted in three deaths and one person taken to the hospital in St. Louis, according to Perry County coroner Herb Miller.

According to a news release from the Perry County Sheriff's office, Jerry Moore, 68, Diane Moore, 55, both of Perryville, and Dennis Stanfill, 54, of Barnhardt, Mo., were killed. Allen Kennon, 46, of Perryville was injured and taken to a St. Louis hospital.

According to the release, a 911 call was received reporting a shooting of several people at the home of Jerry and Diane Moore, 1034 Port Perry Drive in Perryville.

According to the release, further investigation revealed Jerry Moore and Diane Moore had been quarrelling, and Diane, accompanied by Dennis Stanfill, Stanfill's wife, Terry, and Kennon, arrived at the home to remove her belongings. Jerry Moore objected to his wife leaving and the other individuals being there. Moore produced a revolver and shot Dennis Stanfill and Kennon at the rear door of the residence, then shot at Terry Stanfill, 56, just outside the door. Moore then shot his wife outside the home before killing himself. Terry Stanfill suffered no injuries.
