Opal Cady
OVERTON, Texas -- Opal Cady, 83, of Overton, formerly of St. Peters, Mo., died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, at Overton Health Care in Overton. She was born Oct. 12, 1924, in Bell City, Mo., daughter of Vernie and Stella Pearl Howell Hubbard. She and William Cady were married in Waterloo, Ill., in 1957. Cady was a member of Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son, Vern Walton of Overton; two daughters, Joyce Davis of Palestine, Texas, Shelly Cady of Long Beach, Calif.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel.
Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, Mo.
