The Indians posted a 53-18 victory Thursday in the first dual meet between the two schools in four years, according to Central coach Josh Crowell. Central had been trying to host a four-team meet with a Marquette and Rockwood Summit as participants but the St. Louis County schools had been unable to make the trip south.

The Indians (8-0) dominated the heavier divisions. Jackson's Kremer Rampley ran his record to 37-0 with a win by fall at 171 pounds and 145-pounder Cody Rouse improved to 36-1, also with a win by pin.

Despite the loss, Central (5-4) completed back-to-back winning seasons in dual meets for the first time in more than a decade.Jackson 53, Central 18
