KC police ID two homicide victims
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- Police have identified two Kansas City residents shot to death in separate crimes this week. Police say 27-year-old Taron M. Adams was found dead in the gutter outside a market Thursday night. He had been shot. Investigators say 32-year-old Janet Alverenga was shot early Christmas morning and died later at a Kansas City hospital. Police have made no arrests in either slaying.
