PATTON, Mo. -- Ethel A. Baker, 97, of Patton died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at her home. She was born Dec. 5, 1910, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of the Rev. Charles R. and Mary Bell Baker. PATTON, Mo. -- Ethel A. Baker, 97, of Patton died Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at her home.

She was born Dec. 5, 1910, in Charleston, Mo., daughter of the Rev. Charles R. and Mary Bell Baker.

Baker taught school 35 years in Las Cruces, N.M. She was a member of Eastern Star, Rebekah Lodge in Fredericktown, Mo., DAR, Beta Sigma Phi and Ladies Presbyterian Circle.

Survivors include a sister, Thelma Stone of Chaffee, Mo.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Liley Funeral Home in Patton.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tisha Mundy and Clark McIntosh officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill, Mo.
