Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Terris L. Vaughn, 39, 2 N. Benton St., Apt. 2, was arrested on Cape Girardeau County warrants for larceny and parole violation.
  • Two subjects were in custody pending formal charges of stealing.
  • David J. Pierce, 19, of Cairo, Ill., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • Clarence E. Geiger III, 18, 1126 S. Ellis St., was arrested on three Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court.
  • Brandon L. Moss, 29, 2517 Masters Drive, was arrested on a Butler County warrant for assault.
  • A subject was in custody pending formal charges of stealing medication.

Summonses

  • Wal-Mart, 3439 William St., reported two instances of theft. Zachary R. Martin, 18, 1720 Westridge Drive, was issued a summons in one incident. Melinda D. Riggins, 35, and Christy D. Graham, 31, both of East Prairie, Mo., were issued a summonses in the other.

Property damage

  • Graffiti was reported at 130 S. Frederick St.
  • A vehicle was reported spray-painted at 824 Themis St.

Miscellaneous

  • A 40-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • A 23-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
  • An unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • A 35-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
  • Phone harassment was reported.
  • A counterfeit bill was reported.

Jackson

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Thefts

  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of East Jackson Boulevard.
  • A theft was reported in the 1300 block of Brandom Street.

Property damage

  • Property damage was reported in the 300 block of South Georgia Street.

The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Lorenzo D. Braxton, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for second-degree domestic assault.
  • George C. Horman, 35, of Lebanon, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for nonsupport.
  • Charlie Furlow, 36, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • Cedric R. Rucker, 24, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for nonsupport.
  • Donna M. Hale, 46, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of driving while revoked.
  • Donald R. Bass, 39, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for second-degree burglary.
