Crawford County farmer rammed by bull, dies of injuries
ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A Crawford County farmer is dead, after suffering head injuries inflicted by a bull. Officials say 72-year-old Charles Cassidy of Cherryville was pronounced dead early this morning at a St. Louis-area hospital. Officials say 72-year-old Charles Cassidy of Cherryville was pronounced dead early this morning at a St. Louis-area hospital.
He was injured Wednesday evening on his property 100 miles southwest of St. Louis.
Cassidy had gone to feed his cattle but didn't return home. His family found him dazed and confused in a field Wednesday night.

Investigators believe Cassidy may have leaned over to feed the cattle, and that a bull rammed him.
