Lawyer rejoins law firm; will work in Jackson

The law firm of Lichtenegger, Weiss and Fetterhoff LLC, announced that lawyer Wayne Keller has rejoined the firm. Keller will work mainly in the firm's Jackson office at 1210 Greenway Drive and concentrate his practice in criminal law.

Nursing assistant named employee of the month

Angie Sitzes, a nursing assistant at the Cape Girardeau Veterans Home, was named January employee of the month for the Missouri Department of Public Safety. The announcement for Sitzes' award cited her compassion, care and concern for the residents, their families and her coworkers. The award will be presented Tuesday in Jefferson City, Mo.

Modern Woodmen chose membership leader

The Missouri East Agency of the Modern Woodmen of America named Kasey Mathes-Klughart of Benton, Mo., as the membership leader for the month of November. Mathes-Klughart joined the Woodmen's Rainwater Agency, headquartered in Farmington, Mo., in November 2006.
