CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. -- A section of northbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane starting today and continuing through Friday while maintenance crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation make concrete repairs.

The work will take place from mile marker 116 to 119, at the Perry County border. Work was scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. today and continue through 4 p.m. Friday.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction while repairs are made.
