Cape Girardeau

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

  • Eric E. Criddle, 23, 921 William St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for driving while intoxicated.
  • Victor W. Powell III, 27, of Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for revoked operator's license.
  • Patti L. Reed, 42, 219 N. Henderson Ave., was arrested on Cape Girardeau warrants for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for driving while intoxicated, and for contempt of court for failure to pay fine and costs for failure to appear for probation revocation on driving while intoxicated.
  • Timothy Jerald Hurley, 17, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for probation violation for stealing.
  • Rayburn Cowan, 35, 1418 Rose St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for probation violation for nonsupport.
  • Harold Lewis Appel III, 24, 821 William St., Apt. 4, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.
  • A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault.

Summons

  • Peyton W. Beasley, 17, 501 Winwood Lake, was issued a summons for prohibited acts.

Assaults

  • A domestic assault with first-degree unlawful use of a weapon was reported.
  • A domestic assault with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child was reported.
  • A domestic assault with second-degree assault, second-degree burglary and first-degree property damage was reported.

Burglaries

  • Tools and copper wire were reported stolen from 825 North St.
  • A DVD player was reported stolen from 51 Hazel Drive.
  • Assorted boots and shoes were reported stolen from 531 Boxwood Drive.

Property damage

  • RM Coco, 1389 Southern Expressway, reported a broken window.
  • A broken car window was reported at 1520 Dunklin St.

Miscellaneous

  • A child abuse incident was reported.
  • A 25-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
  • A 30-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Summons

  • Brooke Nicole Myer, 24, of Patton, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Nicholas Cody Laird, 21, 316 East Lane, Apt. 4, was issued a summons for speeding and failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Bryant W. Pflasterer, 47, 290 Wills Drive, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle and displaying the plate of another vehicle.
  • Catherine Walsh O'Loughlin, 23, 2317 James St., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.
  • Jillian Leigh Estes, 24, 11 Riverside Drive, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Property damage

  • Damage was reported in the 500 block of South Hope Street.
  • Damage was reported in the 1600 block of Ridge Road.

Miscellaneous

  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the area of Florence Street.
  • A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Hidden Meadows Drive.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Bellevue Street.
  • Harassment was reported in the 2900 block of Old Cape Road.
