Judge restores State Sen. Graham's driving privileges

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) -- A judge has reinstated the driving privileges of State Sen. Chuck Graham, less than three months after the Columbia Democrat was charged with DWI.
After a brief hearing in Boone County Associate Circuit Court Thursday, Graham's attorney said the mandatory driver's license suspension had been set aside. Under an agreement between his lawyer and prosecutors, Graham's driving privileges are restored.
Graham pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DWI last month and paid a $500 fine plus $122 in court costs.

He was taken into custody after his vehicle rear-ended a car Oct. 20 in Columbia. Graham refused a Breathalyzer test, but toxicology tests put his blood alcohol content well over the legal limit.
