Zane Gnann

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Zane Rex Gnann, 72, of Sikeston died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born Jan. 4, 1936, at Chaffee, Mo., son of Auburn Andrew and Bessie Julia Heeb Gnann. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Zane Rex Gnann, 72, of Sikeston died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Jan. 4, 1936, at Chaffee, Mo., son of Auburn Andrew and Bessie Julia Heeb Gnann.

Gnann had worked at Koss Construction Co. in Kansas, and later worked at the Sheltered Workshop in Sikeston. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Gnann of Cape Girardeau, and a sister, Phyllis Budesheim of Kansas City, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.

There is no visitation.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
