Wayne Wren, 60, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at Jackson Manor in Jackson. He was born Feb. 19, 1947, in Cape Gir-ardeau, son of Ralph A. "Sonny" and Georgia Bernadine Diamond Wren. He married Ida Brown, who died in 1996. Survivors include his mother of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Ronnie and Gary Wren of Jackson, Kenny Wren of Tupelo, Miss.; three brothers, Gary Lee and Kenny Wren of Cape Girardeau, Donnie Wren of Jackson; three sisters, Sharon Bragg, Becky Stinnett, Teresa Wren, all of Cape Girardeau; three stepsons, Donnie, Billy and Michael Stringfield, all of Tupelo; two stepdaughters, Brenda Tackett and Lisa Gattis of Tupelo; and six grandchildren.. ...

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
