SIKESTON, Mo. -- Highway 77, from the four-way stop in Chaffee and going north for a mile and a half, will be reduced to one lane starting 7:30 a.m. today. Only the northbound lane will be reduced. MoDOT crews will be repairing pavement through 4 p.m. Friday. Elsewhere on Highway 77, between U.S. 61 and Route W, just south of Oran, both northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction. Only one direction at a time will be reduced while MoDOT crews perform shoulder work. This work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Wednesday and end by 5 p.m. Thursday.
