Reutzels together 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Reutzel of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows in the wedding chapel aboard a cruise ship in the Caribbean. A reception followed the ceremony.

Hosts were their children, Larry Reutzel of Norman, Okla., Randy Reutzel of Marietta, Ga., Linda and Harold Watson of Jackson; and a granddaughter, Samantha Watson of Jackson.

Reutzel and Louella Stephens were married Dec. 25, 1953, in Lutesville, Mo., by the Rev. Floyd Grindstaff, brother-in-law of the groom. Their attendants were Wilma and Earl Stratton, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.

The Reutzels are members of First General Baptist Church in Jackson.
