DWI

  • A subject was in custody pending formal charges of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance and no operator's license.

Arrests

  • James Darnel Noland, 47, 1020 William St., Apt. A, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court and possession of a controlled substance.
  • A subject was in custody pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance.
  • Tara Nicole Umfleet, 20, 221 William St., Apt. 5, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for contempt of court.
  • Steven Ray Johnson, 25, 3002 Themis St., Apt. 5, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.
  • Stephen B. White, 39, 107 Alabama St., Sikeston, Mo., was arrested on a parole absconder warrant from Jefferson City, Mo.

  • Jaspers, 10 S. West End Blvd., reported the theft of gasoline.
  • AM/PM, 1101 William St., reported the theft of two 20-ounce bottles of Sprite and a broken glass door.
  • Clothing, glasses, makeup, a pearl necklace and a white gold necklace were reported stolen at 423 N. Broadview St.
  • A red leather purse, two credit cards and $50 were reported stolen from 423 N. Broadview St.

Property damage

  • A camper shell window was reported damaged at 1507 N. Main St.
  • A vehicle at 2615 Maria Louise Lane was reported damaged by paint.
  • The building and sidewalk were reported damaged by paint at Franklin Elementary School, 215 N. Louisiana St.
  • Windows were broken on two vehicles at Southeast Missouri State University, 1237 Water St.
  • Two dryers and a washing machine were reported damaged at Rendrag Properties, 2837 Themis St.
  • The paint on a 2006 Toyota Highlander at 2615 Maria Louise Lane was reported scratched.
