PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dorothy Mae Acton, 70, of Perryville died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at her home. She was born March 19, 1937, in Perry County, daughter of Adren E. and Mary E. Brown Adams. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Dorothy Mae Acton, 70, of Perryville died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008 at her home.

She was born March 19, 1937, in Perry County, daughter of Adren E. and Mary E. Brown Adams.

She married Dillard H. Acton on May 10, 1974, in Perryville.

She was a former member of St. John's Catholic Church in Lithium, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, Dillard Acton of Perryville; three daughters, Barbara Bohler, Susan Whitney, and Annette Acton, all of St. Louis; a brother, Robert Adams of Perryville; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a son.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
