ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Detectives in St. Louis continue to investigate after a stolen car fleeing police struck another car and a city bus, killing the driver and two others in the stolen car.

Police on Thursday identified those killed as 17-year-old Joshua Kennedy, 18-year-old Ryan Kennedy and 22-year-old Charles Pettus. The driver of the bus was treated for a minor injury. Four passengers on the bus were not hurt.

The incident happened Wednesday in the city's Dogtown neighborhood. An officer spotted the stolen Pontiac Grand Am and turned on his police lights, prompting the driver of the stolen car to speed away. Police say the officer did not give chase.

The stolen car struck another car, then the bus.
