ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Homicide detectives in St. Louis are investigating a drive-by shooting that killed an 80-year-old woman and left four others injured.

The crime happened Wednesday. Two men in a Dodge Intrepid apparently targeted an 18-year-old man, shooting him in the leg.

But police say three innocent bystanders were also shot, including 80-year-old Julie Steele, who was driving by at the time and was shot in the head. Her car careened out of control and struck two parked cars, leaving an 80-year-old passenger injured.
