High school senior to attend West Point

Neil Kanneberg, a senior at Notre Dame Regional High School, recently accepted an appointment to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is the son of Chris and Neil Kanneberg of Cape Girardeau. An active Boy Scout who has achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, Kanneberg recently was selected for and attended the Summer Leader's Seminar at West Point. His activities include running on the varsity cross country team for four years, membership in the Tri M music honor society and attendance at Boys State. Kanneberg is a select singer in the Notre Dame Select Singers choir. He also participated in a mission trip in 2006 to the Navajo Reservation in Arizona with the high school.
