Police say three Jackson businesses failed alcohol compliance checks

Three out of seven businesses sold alcohol to minors during an alcohol compliance check in Jackson last month.

According to a news release sent out by the Jackson Police Department, clerks from "Kidd's II, Jackson BP and Rhodes 101" have been cited to municipal court for selling alcohol to an undercover youth.

For the past three years, the department has received a grant from the state to pay for the compliance checks.
