Jattie Baumgartner

Jattie Baumgartner, 87, of Ames, Iowa, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at her home.

She was born March 6, 1911, in Jackson, daughter of Jesse and Florence Davis Wilkinson. She and Omer Baumgartner were married Feb. 14, 1947, in Kewanee, Ill.

They founded Wilkinson Office Supply and Equipment Co., with offices in Kewanee and Galesburg, Ill., and Burlington, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Donna Prizgintas and Mary Levner of Ames; a sister, Elsie Beaudean of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Burial was Thursday in Red Oak Church Cemetery in Walnut, Ill., with the Rev. Bob Meador officiating.

Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care in Ames was in charge of arrangements.
