• Line dance lessons will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and April 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21 and 28 at Eagles Aerie No. 3775, 321 N. Spring Ave. in Cape Girardeau. Beginner lessons are at 6 p.m. There is a cost.
• PWP will have a general meeting/orientation from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 7 at Riverside Regional Library, 204 S. Union Ave. in Jackson. A free educational program about Alzheimer's will be presented. Attendees are invited to bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards.
• PWP will host a singles' support group from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 11 at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free. Attendees are invited to bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play cards, including Texas Hold 'Em.
• PWP will have a board/orientation meeting from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 18 at Riverside Regional Library. The event is free. Attendees are invited to bring a guest or prospective member and stay to play games.
• A singles dance sponsored by PWP will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight April 19 at the VFW in Cape Girardeau. The event is open to the public, and singles and couples are welcome. Admission is discounted for PWP members.
• All new members are invited to a wine and cheese party April 25 followed by an evening of cards. For details, use the contact information above.
• PWP will take children to see The "World Famous" Lippizzaner Stallions at 2 p.m. April 26 at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau.
