Jackson Middle School plans trivia night

The second annual trivia night at Jackson Middle School will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the school cafeteria. Ten rounds of 10 questions will start at 6 p.m. There will be an optional "All Around the USA" table-decorating contest. Snacks and drinks will be provided, or attendees can bring their own. No alcohol allowed. Door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction will be included. To reserve a table, contact Jane Lysell at jlysell@charter.net or call 243-7927 or 450-6349. Proceeds will benefit seventh-grade students on their trip to Washington, D.C.

Scott County Women in Agriculture to meet

BENTON, Mo. — The Scott County Women in Agriculture will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the USDA office on Highway 77 in Benton for a discussion about Farm Day. The meeting is open to the public. All women are invited. For more information, contact Kay Dover at the USDA Center at 545-9027.
