An arraignment for confessed serial killer Timothy W. Krajcir has been rescheduled for April 4 at 2 p.m. before Circuit Judge Benjamin F. Lewis. The hearing had been set for April 14, but Cape Girardeau County prosecuting attorney Morley Swingle said the court wanted to accommodate the large number of media, victims' families and curious citizens.

Because so many people wished to attend the hearing, Swingle said court officials decided to hold it at a special setting, rather than a regular law day like the April 14 date would have been.

Krajcir faces 13 charges in Missouri: five counts of murder, three counts of rape, four counts of sexual sodomy, and one count of first degree robbery.
