Zelda Mohrstadt

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Zelda Doral Mohrstadt, 88, of Warrenton, Mo., died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, Mo. She was born July 5, 1915, in Advance, daughter of Edward and Alma Galloway Zimmer. She and Adolph C. Mohrstadt were married Feb. 7, 1938, in Arkansas. He died June 6, 1988...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Zelda Doral Mohrstadt, 88, of Warrenton, Mo., died Sunday, March 14, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake St. Louis, Mo.

She was born July 5, 1915, in Advance, daughter of Edward and Alma Galloway Zimmer. She and Adolph C. Mohrstadt were married Feb. 7, 1938, in Arkansas. He died June 6, 1988.

Mohrstadt was a librarian at Advance Public Library during the 1950s. She was a member of Advance Methodist Church, Extension Homemakers Association, Women's Study Club and Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Martha Bowen of Warrenton; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. The Rev. Tom Zych will officiate. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
