Joseph and his dreamcoat come to Sikeston

SIKESTON, Mo. -- The Sikeston Little Theater is performing "Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" March 25 through 27 at the Albritton-Mayer Cultural Center at 506 S. Kingshighway in Sikeston. This famous Andrew Lloyd Webber play is based on the biblical story of Joseph and his brothers, highlighting Joseph's elevation from a slave to the second highest politician in Egypt under the Pharaoh. Tickets can be purchased at Collin's Music at 98 N. Kingshighway in Sikeston.

PADUCAH, Ky. -- Market House Theater's youth acting program, Footlights, is accepting new members for its third trimester of classes for the 2003-2004 season. The trimester begins Saturday and costs $40 per trimester. This program is open to anyone ages 7 to 18 with an interest in acting. Southeast faculty planning performance for public

Southeast Missouri State University music faculty members Michael Dean and James Wehrman will perform a joint recital at 8 p.m. Monday at the Southeast's Brandt Music Hall, Room 205. Dean is an assistant professor of clarinet and saxophone and a clarinetist with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra. Wehrman is an adjunct professor and also plays horn for the St. Louis Symphony.

St. Joseph in Perryville putting on Hee Haw show

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- The St. Joseph Parish in Apple Creek is staging the 24th Hee Haw Apple Creek Style Show at 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Perry Park Center in Perryville. Featuring many local citizens who have been in the show since its first performance, the night will provide entertainment and laughs through comedy skits and musical performances. There is an fee for admission and the proceeds from the show go toward providing area children with future religious education.
