About 3,000 youths from across the state are expected to attend a youth convention through Friday in Cape Girardeau. Youth leader awards will be presented Friday evening, and House Majority Floor Leader Jason Crowell of Cape Girardeau will greet the guests, said pastor Timothy Lee of Faith United Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau.
