Crowell's actions bring criticism

To the editor:

I am a special-education teacher in Missouri, and I am outraged at the childish behavior April 6 by state Rep. Jason Crowell. According to an article in the Kansas City Star, Crowell made siren noises and flatulence sounds as Democrats were speaking.

I have 10-year-old students who behave better in public than this elected leader. Southeast Missouri should be ashamed of its representative. He has embarrassed the entire state and let down tens of thousands of our children. Crowell needs to go back to school and learn how to behave.
