To the editor:

The infantile antics of state Rep. Rod Jetton and state Rep. Jason Crowell, in addition to bringing shame upon the people of Southeast Missouri, demonstrate once and for all why term limits are a bad idea. With term limits we end up with kindergartners running the legislature and, in the case of Crowell and Jetton, immature kindergartners at that. Sadly term limits have expelled the adults from the legislature who might otherwise instruct these miscreants in proper adult behavior. Crowell's brother expects better behavior from students at the high school than we get from our representatives.
