ADVANCE, Mo. -- Jimmie H. Cochran, 65, of Advance died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Kindred Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born May 20, 1938, in Lormar, Ark., son of Jack and Beulah Chessar Cochran. He and Nancy Brannon Cochran were married April 18, 1960, in Sikeston, Mo.

Cochran was an auctioneer.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roger and Ricky Cochran, both of Dexter, Mo.; two daughters, Julie Maddox and Ashley Cochran, both of Marble Hill, Mo.; a brother, John Cochran of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, a daughter and two sons.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Murray officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery near Sikeston.
