Changed the regular board of aldermen meeting from May 3 to May 10.

Authorized the expenditure of $3,000, regarding the partial funding of the 2004 Independence Day fireworks display.

Authorized a master service agreement with Willie Sandin regarding providing engineering services for the city of Jackson.

Approved vacating an utility easement in Jackson Boulevard Subdivision.

Accepted the $855,563.20 bid of and authorized a contract to Dutch Enterprises Inc. of Jackson regarding the West Jackson Boulevard/South Hope Street water and Sanitary sewer relocation project, Phase 1.

Authorized the closure of South Russell Street, between West Madison Street and West Jefferson Street from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. May 6 for the annual Jackson High School Docu-Drama.

Approved the preliminary plat of Green Meadows Tenth Subdivision as submitted by Appleton Valley Farm Inc.

Approved the payment of $4,537.50 to Missouri Lakes LLC, regarding oversizing costs associated with the improvement of Oak Street, as a major collector street.

Set a public hearing for May 10 to consider a special-use permit for a Community Unit Plan for Lot No. 1 of Green Meadows Tenth Subdivision as submitted by Appleton Valley Farm Inc.

Set a public hearing for May 10 to consider a special-use permit for an attached sign which exceeds the roof height at 1335 Old Cape Road, Suite F, as submitted by Kenneth R. Evans.
