Vivian Schneider

Vivian Delores Schneider, 68, of Jackson died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at her home.

She was born April 24, 1936, in Advance, Mo., daughter of Charley and Agnes Barker Friedrich. She and Eugene Schneider were married July 3, 1964.

Schneider worked in the fitting room at International Shoe in Cape Girardeau, then cleaned houses for several families in Jackson. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Ben Gilliland of Millersville; three brothers, Vincent Friedrich of Oak Ridge, Earl Friedrich of Jackson and Harl Friedrich of Whitewater; and three grandchildren, Sarah and twins Thomas and Leslie Gilliland.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Glenn and an infant; and one sister, Clara.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Southeast Hospice or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
