Ronald G. Farrow, 39, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004, as a result of a tragic accident near his home.

He was born Aug. 24, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, son of John W. and Fannie B. Abernathy Farrow. He and Cheryl Reisenbichler were married March 12, 2004.

Ron worked in the timber business with his family more than 20 years. He had previously worked for Mid-South Towing, Nordenia USA and Southern Illinois Sand Co. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He was a lifelong member of New Bethel Baptist Church near Pocahontas, and a member of IOUE Local 501.

Loving survivors include his wife; three sons, Johnny, Justin and Jacob Farrow; three stepdaughters, Kayla, Kami and Hannah Lynn, all of Jackson; his parents of Jackson; three brothers, Ted Farrow, Don Farrow and wife Sandy, and Greg Farrow and wife Rhonda, all of Jackson; two sisters, Judy Lunsford and husband Rick, Joane Whitledge and husband Darren, all of Jackson; six nieces; and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Farrow, and his grandparents.

Ron had a special passion for all children and was a devoted husband, father, brother, son and friend. He will be sadly missed in the lives of many.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, and Thursday after 10 a.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Johnny Clements officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to New Bethel Cemetery Fund or Zion Lutheran Education Fund (Pocahontas).
