Colleen R. Lowry, 78, of Jackson died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at her home. She was born March 15, 1926, in Cobden, Ill., daughter of Collie E. and Farris Wallace Norris. She and Byford Lowry were married April 13, 1956, in Cobden. He died May 22, 2001...

Colleen R. Lowry, 78, of Jackson died Tuesday, May 4, 2004, at her home.

She was born March 15, 1926, in Cobden, Ill., daughter of Collie E. and Farris Wallace Norris. She and Byford Lowry were married April 13, 1956, in Cobden. He died May 22, 2001.

Lowry was a member of Cape Bible Chapel and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include two sons, Bob Lowry of Hailey, Idaho, Greg Lowry of Jackson; a daughter, Lisa Boedy of St. Louis; a brother, Wally Norris of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Joan Parmley of Memphis; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dan Greene officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
