Thank you for all the weight that was to gain,

Thank you for taking the pain.

I'm so glad you chose to give birth to me.

Thank you for all the time and caring.

Thank you for loving me through all my

child, adolescent and teenage years.

Even though you had some sleepless nights, red eyes and tears

Thank you for raising me to the best of your ability.

Thank you for the gifts you have given to me.

without them I couldn't become the person I am.

Equal, friends to everyone, non-judgemental,

To believe in who I am, standing up for what

is right and to believe I can.

Thank you for everything I can't explain.

Thank you for the life that you gave,

Mother you matter so much to me.

If it weren't for you, where would I be.
