Kuntzes mark golden event

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kuntze of Jackson were honored at a surprise dinner April 17, 2004, at Delmonico's, in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

Hosts were Karla Kuntze of Jackson, sister of Mr. Kuntze; and the couple's children, Brenda Kuntze of Cape Girardeau, Darrell and wife Karen Kuntze of Jackson, and Rodney Kuntze of Gordonville.

Kuntze and Ella Mae Sides were married April 18, 1954, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Their attendants were Verla Wille, Mabel Phillips, Lavern Wilke, Marian Aufdenberg, Walter Lange, Jerry Wilke, Elmer Sebastian and Clement Wille.

Kuntze is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kuntze. Mrs. Kuntze is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Sides.

The couple has four grandchildren, Jeremy Kuntze of Cape Girardeau, Megan Kuntze of Columbia, Mo., Jessica and Jordan Kuntze of Gordonville.
