Michael E. Davis, 52, of Jackson died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at his home. He was born Jan. 30, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of Virgil E. and Gladys Hutson Davis. Davis formerly worked for Robinson Construction of Perryville, Mo., and was currently employed by Custom Cut Fabrication in Jackson. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2652...

Michael E. Davis, 52, of Jackson died Tuesday, May 18, 2004, at his home.

He was born Jan. 30, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of Virgil E. and Gladys Hutson Davis.

Davis formerly worked for Robinson Construction of Perryville, Mo., and was currently employed by Custom Cut Fabrication in Jackson. He was a member of Elks Lodge 2652.

Survivors include a son, Ryan Davis; a daughter, LaShay Pinkerton; his mother, all of Jackson; two sisters, Beverly Koehler of Jackson, Nancy Manchett of Aurora, Colo.; three stepsisters; and three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Mike Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
