Operation Troop Support seeking concession stand

Operation Troop Support, a nonprofit organization established to help troops overseas and their families back home facing a substantial loss of income, is seeking a mobile food concession stand for use during the July 4 holiday as a means of raising funds for the cause.

The group has a live auction and yard sale planned for July. A-1 Mini Storage has donated a storage unit to hold the items. Those with an item to donate or who need a bulky item picked up may call 334-4991.

Individuals wishing to contribute can make a tax-deductible donation to Operation Troop Support, P.O. Box 840, Cape Girardeau, Mo. 63702-0840. Donations can also be made at collection points located at local businesses. For more information, call 332-7711 .
