Whitney Jenae Hosmer and Ryan James Tate Jr. exchanged wedding vows Oct. 27, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Paul Kabo Jr. performed the ceremony. Reader was Bobbi Crouch. Organist was Dr. Gary Miller, violinist and violist was Kyle Miller, and vocalists were Mike Renick and Katie Broecking.

The bride is the daughter of Darlene Lingle of Jonesboro, Ill., and Jerry Hosmer of Poplar Bluff, Mo. The groom is the son of Ryan and Joanna Tate of Hartland, Wis.

Matron of honor was Julie Griffin of Decatur, Ga. Bridesmaids were Rhonda Miller of Millersville and Cindy Holmes of Gordonville, sisters of the bride; Nicole Arnzen of Cape Girardeau, Sherry Brown of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., and Katie Mankus of Cape Girardeau.

Jason Tate of Hartland served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Tony Wex of Hartland, Jon Sicotte of Munger, Mich.; Christopher Daniels of LaVerne, Calif., cousin of the groom; Keith Robel of Sheboygan, Wis., and Brian Heisserer of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Casey Holmes of Gordonville and Natalie Miller of Millersville, nieces of the bride.

Flower girl was Kadi Dohogne of Gordonville, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Liam Arnzen of Cape Girardeau.

A dinner and dance reception was held at Deerfield Lodge.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 26 at Port Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Tate is a 1993 graduate of Jackson High School, and 1999 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. She is operations manager with Mississippi River Radio.

The groom is a 1994 graduate of Oconomowoc High School in Oconomowoc, Wis., and 1999 graduate of the University of Minnesota. He is an anchor/reporter with KFVS-TV 12.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
