FARMINGTON, Mo. (AP) -- Two people are dead after their motorcycle was hit by a vehicle passing a line of cars on an eastern Missouri highway.

The highway patrol says a Honda Goldwing driven by 60-year-old Harry Propst was making a left turn on Missouri 32 near Farmington Sunday when it was struck by a pickup truck. Both vehicles were eastbound.

Propst and 66-year-old Eleanor Hunt, both of Farmington, were pronounced dead at the scene by St. Francois County Coroner Jim Coplin. The 75-year-old pickup truck driver was identified as Carl Womack of Ironton. He and his wife were injured but not seriously.
