Trial of ex-narcotics officer opens today
A jury trial for former Cape Girardeau narcotics officer Paul Tipler begins today in front of Judge John Heisserer. A jury from St. Louis was selected Monday and brought down for the trial, which is expected to last three days. Tipler was arrested in May 2003 after investigations by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
