Ruby Sams

CAIRO, Ill. — Ruby Sams, 91, of Cairo died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 30, 1916, in Greenville, Miss., daughter of Walter and Birdie Davison Sams.

Sams was a member of Mighty Rivers Region Worship Center. She worked at McKesson-Robins Drug Co. in Cairo.

Survivors include a sister, Una Belle Berryhill of Cairo.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Potts officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
