Rosalie Moeller

Rosalie Moeller, 83, of Jackson passed away Friday, May 16, 2008, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 19, 1924, in Jackson to Henry G. and Malinda E. Birk Allen.

Moeller graduated from Jackson High School and then worked at the former International Shoe Co. in Jackson.

She and Glen M. Moeller were married June 1, 1957. The couple resided in St. Louis, and Rosalie worked 25 years at the Lutheran Medical Center. Glen passed away Nov. 14, 1979, and Rosalie returned to Jackson in 1983.

Moeller was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, both in Jackson.

She is survived by cousins and friends.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson. The Rev. Robert Henrichs will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers are Steve Skelton, Howard Hemmann, Ryland "Dutch" Meyer, Richard Aufdenberg, John Strickland and Ken Ruff.

Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church or Saxony Lutheran High School.
