ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) -- A St. Charles County teenager faces another court appearance in July after pleading not guilty in the death of his father.

Casey Doss of O'Fallon entered the plea during a court appearance on Monday. The 19-year-old suspect is accused of killing 58-year-old Larry Doss during a February fight over a loud muffler on the younger man's car.

Authorities say Casey Doss struck his father in the head with his fists, then the two men fell down a flight of stairs and Larry Doss struck his head.

Casey Doss is free on $25,000 bond. He was a high school senior but was suspended after the incident.
