East Cape Baptist Church's choir will present the musical "The Spirit of America" at 7 p.m. The presentation includes a big-screen synchronized video.

Sunday

First Baptist Church in Jackson will hold one worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday school will be held at 8:45 a.m. There will not be any evening activities at the church.

Cenentary United Methodist Church will hold one worship service at 10:30 a.m. followed by a cookout at the Family Life Center.

Lynwood Baptist Church will have one worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday school will be at 9 a.m. There are no evening activities.

Kim Ferguson will be the guest preacher during 10:30 a.m. services at Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

East Cape Baptist Church's choir will present the musical "The Spirit of America" at its 10:30 a.m. worship service.

Red Star Baptist Church will hold its annual patriotic worship service at 10:40 a.m., followed by a meal and fellowship.

Hanover Lutheran Church will hold its annual patriotic service, beginning at 9 a.m. American Legion Post 158 will serve as the color guard. Rep. Scott Lipke of Jackson will address the congregation. Members of Scout troops are invited to come in uniform. A light breakfast will be served after the service.

Monday

Financial Peace University classes begin at Mount Auburn Christian Church in Cape Girardeau. The classes are part of a 13-week program taught by Dave Ramsey, an author and financial counselor. For information, contact Bradley Gregg at 243-0423.
