Lydia Cora Estherlee Breedlove, 95, of Scott City died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at the Chateau Health Center at Cape Girardeau. She was born April 16, 1909, at Parsons, Tenn., daughter of the Rev. Lydia Cora Estherlee Breedlove, 95, of Scott City died Sunday, July 25, 2004, at the Chateau Health Center at Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 16, 1909, at Parsons, Tenn., daughter of the Rev. Elias and Lucy Gibson Greener. Lydia married Alfred Breedlove on Nov. 5, 1927, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 1997.

Lydia was a homemaker. She faithfully attended New Hope General Baptist Church in Silva, Mo. She attended the senior adult class and loved to discuss the Bible. She also attended any mission or other services the church offered as long as she was able. She attended Illmo Baptist when she moved to Scott City.

Survivors include three sons, Ray (Shirley) Breedlove of Hot Springs Village, Ark., Doyle (Shelby) Breedlove of San Antonio, and Jerry Breedlove of Cabool, Mo.; two daughters, Geneva (Robert) Camp of Scott City and Ruby (James) Shrader of Jackson; brother Boyd (Katie) Greener of San Dimas, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son Roy (Glenna) Breedlove; two brothers, Claude (Attice) Greener and Floyd (Margaret) Greener; sister Mellie (Lee) Blackwood; two infant brothers; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation Wednesday will be at New Hope General Baptist at Silva from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. The Rev. Dan Ross will officiate, with burial in Greenville Cemetery at Greenville, Mo.
